EBC Racing 2016+ Toyota 86/GR86 RP-X Front Brake Pads (DP81661RPX)
EBC Racing's RP-X compound is an ultra-high-performance track and race brake pad designed for performance vehicles that are driven hard on the track, as well as for dedicated race cars. The RP-X pad has a stable friction coefficient of 0.55μ, effective up to and beyond 850°C, making it ideal for even the most demanding vehicle applications. One of the key advantages of RP-X is its high friction level from cold, which allows it to achieve maximum braking effectiveness without needing a warm-up. This feature makes it especially suited for sprint races and hill climb events. It's important to note that RP-X is not R90 homologated for use on public roads in EU member states. However, its excellent cold performance means it can be safely used for driving to and from motorsport events where local laws permit. EBC Racing emphasizes that RP-X has been developed for peak on-track performance; thus, users should expect higher levels of brake dust and noise. While RP-X offers comparable disc wear to many other popular track and race materials, it does produce significantly more disc wear than EBC Racing’s other track pad, the RP-1, which results in increased brake dust. When compared to RP-1, RP-X features a 25% higher friction coefficient across its working temperature range and provides a much more 'positive' initial bite. This characteristic makes RP-X potentially more suitable for heavy vehicles or those that are inherently under-servoed. Conversely, for light to medium-weight vehicles, cars with non-EBC Big Brake Kits, or vehicles without ABS, the less aggressive nature of EBC Racing's RP-1 may be the better choice.

Orders over $500 will ship insured and over $1,000 with signature and insurance in order to guarantee delivery. Orders over $1000 may not be able to ship to a different address not listed as the billing address or confirm payment address from the form of payment used. Orders with suite numbers, different billing, or apartment numbers will require signature if valued over $100.
All international orders outside of the USA are subject to duties and taxes fees per your countries jurisdiction and determined by customs.

In stock, non special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
